Whether you’re a local business, a corporate organisation, or a community group, your partnership with GIPSIL, together can make a real difference.

Third Sector and Organisational Partnerships

Are you part of a charity, community group, or not-for-profit organisation looking to make a greater impact? By partnering with GIPSIL, we can combine resources and expertise to tackle key issues such as housing, mental health, and youth development.

What We’re Looking For: Partners who can provide complementary services, expand our reach, or work together on joint projects.

How We Can Work Together: Co-delivering services, applying for joint funding, or sharing training opportunities.

We are particularly interested in forming alliances with organisations focused on young people, housing support, and mental health.

Consortia Working

If you’re interested in tackling large-scale challenges as part of a consortium, GIPSIL has a proven track record in collaborative working. We bring deep local knowledge and a commitment to making things happen.

What We’re Looking For: Partners with expertise in areas such as health, education, or employment services to complement our work.

How We Can Work Together: Joining forces to bid for funding, creating innovative programmes, or delivering large-scale projects across multiple sectors.

Together, we can take on complex issues with a joined-up approach that ensures no one is left behind.

Corporate and Business Partnerships

Businesses have a powerful role to play in creating stronger communities. At GIPSIL, we offer flexible opportunities for companies to meet their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals while making a tangible difference.

What We’re Looking For: Companies that value social impact and want to invest in meaningful projects.

How We Can Work Together:

  • Sponsorship Opportunities: Sponsor specific projects, events, or training programmes to enhance your brand while supporting vital work in the community.
  • Workplace Volunteering: Engage your employees in skills-sharing, mentoring, or hands-on volunteering with our projects.
  • Campaigns: Partner with us on awareness campaigns, like our White Ribbon Campaign, to show your commitment to key social issues.

Skills Exchange

Are you or your organisation able to share expertise or professional skills? A partnership with GIPSIL can be a two-way exchange, where your skills help improve our services while providing new opportunities for your team.

What We’re Looking For: First, second and third sector professional, from digital marketing and project management to maintenance and training delivery.

How We Can Work Together:

  • Provide workshops or training for GIPSIL staff or service users.
  • Offer mentorship to young people in areas such as career readiness or financial literacy.
  • Collaborate on property improvements or community initiatives.

Skills exchange partnerships help us grow together, with meaningful benefits for both sides.

Levels of Collaboration

Service Collaboration

Join us in co-designing and delivering comprehensive services to address key community needs. Service creation partnerships, such as Engage Leeds, are large-scale collaborations that integrate the strengths of multiple organisations.

Through service creation, you can:

Develop new solutions: Work with GIPSIL to identify gaps in community services and create programmes to fill them.

Share expertise: Bring your organisation’s knowledge to the table to co-deliver impactful services.

Expand your reach: Collaborate with GIPSIL to connect with new audiences and amplify your impact.

Example: Our Way Leeds, a city-wide housing support service, brings together several organisations to help individuals achieve stability and independence.

Project Collaboration

Focus on a specific area or need by partnering on an individual project. These collaborations target particular challenges, empowering communities with innovative, tailored solutions.

What project collaboration looks like:

Pilot programmes: Trial new initiatives with the potential to expand.

Community focus: Address the unique needs of specific groups, like young people, families, or marginalised populations.

Creative campaigns: Use storytelling, events, or workshops to raise awareness and engagement.

Example: Black Boy Joy, a project aimed at celebrating and empowering young Black men, highlights the power of collaboration to address underrepresented voices.

Support Collaboration

Contribute your skills, resources, or time consistently to enrich GIPSIL’s work. Regular contributions allow you to stay involved while providing essential support to our community efforts.

Ways to contribute:

Run free workshops: Offer classes in budgeting, cooking, art, or life skills for young people.

Host clubs or activities: Facilitate sports, music, or creative programmes that build community and confidence.

Share resources: Provide access to tools, spaces, or materials that benefit our service users.

Example: A volunteer running weekly fitness sessions or a local business sponsoring supplies for youth workshops.

Building Partnerships

Help GIPSIL grow its capacity to serve more effectively by offering support that strengthens our organisation and staff. Capacity building goes beyond direct service to create a ripple effect of positive change.

How capacity building works:

Training and development: Provide professional training for our teams, from safeguarding to leadership skills.

Infrastructure support: Help us improve our technology, facilities, or operational processes.

Mentoring and advice: Offer expertise in areas like mental health, housing, legal support, or fundraising.

Example: A tech company donating software and training to streamline our operations or a mental health professional mentoring our staff.

Why partner with us

As a partner of GIPSIL, you’ll play a key role in empowering young people, families, and individuals in Leeds. Together, we can:

Support Vulnerable Communities: Provide housing, mental health services, and essential resources to those facing hardship.

Deliver Transformative Programs: Enable young people to access education, employment, and life-changing opportunities.

Create Long-Term Impact: Build stronger communities by addressing the root causes of poverty, homelessness, and inequality.
