Supporting Autistic Clients

What You’ll Learn:

• A deeper insight into the key traits of Autism and the impact on everyday life.
• Increase awareness of the language and terminology surrounding neurodivergence.
• Understand how Autism presents differently in women and girls.
• Increase awareness of themes that might be present in support sessions.
• How to adapt therapeutic practices to be more inclusive for Autistic Clients.

Domestic Violence Awareness Training

This course provides an in-depth understanding of domestic violence, including how to recognise the signs, understand the impact on individuals and families, and support victims sensitively. You’ll also learn about referral pathways and how to connect victims with appropriate resources. Ideal for professionals working in housing, social care, or support services.

Supporting ADHD Clients

What You’ll Learn:

This course encourages healthy discussions around masculinity, challenging harmful stereotypes and promoting positive, equitable behaviours. Learn how to support boys and men in developing emotional resilience and fostering relationships based on respect and equality. Mediation Skills Training

Equip yourself with essential mediation skills to effectively resolve disputes and foster positive outcomes. This course covers conflict resolution techniques, communication strategies, and how to mediate challenging conversations with empathy and professionalism. Cuckooing Awareness Training

Understand the growing issue of cuckooing, where vulnerable individuals are exploited in their homes. This course covers how to identify signs of cuckooing, strategies for intervention, and how to work with law enforcement and support services to protect victims. Essential for housing, social care, and community workers.

Cultural Humility Training

This course helps you build the skills needed to approach cross-cultural interactions with respect, awareness, and a commitment to continuous learning. It focuses on understanding cultural differences, challenging unconscious biases, and fostering inclusive environments. Essential for anyone working with diverse communities or teams.

Emotional Support Training

Learn to provide meaningful emotional support to individuals facing mental health challenges, life crises, or stress. This course covers active listening, empathy, and understanding emotional well-being, alongside practical techniques for offering assistance while maintaining professional boundaries.

Parent Mediation

Parent Mediation helps separating or divorcing couples resolve disputes about children without costly legal battles. Mediators support constructive discussions to reach agreements in the children’s best interests.

Family Mediation

Our Family Mediation service provides a safe space for young people and their and their Parent/carer to reduce conflict and improve communication. Sessions focus on preventing family breakdown and creating positive changes through a solution-focused approach.

Young people aged 11 to 18 years.
Living in Leeds or attending an educational provision in Leeds.
Access: Self-referral.
