Who We Are

We have learned from our successful work in Gipton and developed into an outward-looking organisation that’s built on the values of compassion, courage and collaboration.

Our approach

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

At GIPSIL, we are dedicated to creating a culture where the principles of Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, and Engagement (FREDIE) are deeply embedded and upheld. We strive to ensure that every individual feels valued and respected, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Involvement & Co-production

GIPSIL is dedicated to leading involvement and co-production, ensuring the views of the people we support, our staff, partners, and communities are heard and shape our services. We prioritise creating opportunities for meaningful engagement, where individuals can contribute their insights and experiences to co-create effective solutions.

Trauma Informed

GIPSIL is committed to creating a culture where our six trauma-informed principles—safety, trustworthiness, peer support, collaboration, empowerment, voice and control, and cultural humility—are embedded and upheld. We recognise the profound impact trauma can have on individuals and are dedicated to providing an environment that promotes healing and resilience.

Environmental Protection

GIPSIL is dedicated to minimising our environmental impact by promoting responsibility and adopting eco-friendly green technologies for sustainable development. We actively explore and implement innovative solutions to reduce our carbon footprint and encourage practices that support environmental sustainability.
